Overview
ITS and UVa Human Resources Employee Development are proud to offer high-quality training on Apple products and technologies at the University of Virginia through our designation as an Apple Authorized Training Center.
Apple Certified Technical Training
Our complete offering of Apple Certified Technical Training courses introduces Mac OS X and teaches IT professionals how to plan, support, and integrate Mac OS X.
All IT courses are conducted in Carruthers Hall (Room 248) at 1001 North Emmet St. in Charlottesville where there is ample parking and access to several restaurants. Each class will start at 9:00AM and run until 5:00PM.
Apple Certified Pro Applications Training
Apple Certified Pro Apps Training classes teach you to master the applications as well as prepare you to take the Apple Certified End User exam, which can give you a competitive edge in the digital production job market.
All Pro courses are conducted in Clemons Library in the Digital Media Lab in Charlottesville. Each class will start at 9:00AM and run until 5:00PM.
These classes are open to both UVa and non-UVa affiliated persons. Successful completion of these courses will prepare you for exams to achieve certification in various areas (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC) and Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA).
