I am an employee and looking for work at home Office and Windows. Where do I go?
Work at Home Office and Windows is now distributed through UVA Software. Please select the Microsoft Office and Windows tab that most pertains to you in the UVA Software gateway.
I am a non-degree seeking student. Do I qualify for this software?
As long as you remain enrolled at UVa, you qualify to use the software entitled under this program. You must remove the software if you stop attending for any reason other than graduation from a degree program.
Can I download both Office for Mac 2016 and Office for Windows 2016?
Yes, these are considered two separate software titles. Thus, you can download one copy of each.
What about a copy of Office 2016 for Windows and Office 2013 for Windows?
Yes, these are also considered two separate software titles. Thus, you can download one copy of each.
Can I keep the software after I leave the University?
Yes, you can keep the software in perpetuity if you leave the University upon graduating from a degree program. If you leave the University for any other reason, you must discontinue use of the software and remove the software from your computer.
What happens if my computer crashes and I have to reinstall Office and/or Windows?
You must save a copy of the software and key (if applicable) within 31 days of ordering the software. If you fail to do so, you will no longer have access to that software title. Thus, we strongly recommend saving a copy of the software installer and key to UVa Box as soon as complete the order. If you have the software backed up, you will follow the same installation process as the first time and you will have restored access to the software.
I have downloaded the software, and it appears on my desktop as a .img. What do I do next?
