Notes On This Software
As a student, you can now download Windows (and Office) at no cost from UVa Software.

- You only get one copy of each software title.

- You will only have access to the software download and keys (if applicable) for 31 days.

- You must save the software and keys using a service like UVaBox in the event your computer crashes and you need to reinstall the software.

Once a student graduates, they become permanently licensed for products covered at time of graduation.
If students leave without graduating, all products obtained under this agreement must be removed.

Notes On This Software
For UVa Faculty/Staff working for agencies participating in the Microsoft Campus Agreement.

The software may only be installed on computers owned by these participating agencies.

Windows is covered as an upgrade, not a new installation. Your computer must already have a valid license for an existing version of a Microsoft operating system (virtual machines on Macs are considered valid: Redhat, Solaris, etc. are not valid). If your computer does not have a valid license, first purchase any full version of a supported Windows (available at Cavalier Computers at an educational discount) before obtaining versions of Windows under the Agreements.

NEW! As an employee of a covered entity, you can now download Windows (and Office) at minimal cost from UVa Software.

- Pay attention to the "Are you eligible?" tabs. You can only purchase one copy of each title licensed under Work at Home.

- You will only have access to the software download and keys (if applicable) for 31 days under Work at Home, unless you purchase extended access.
