- Important Upcoming Software Service Changes
[May 11, 2012] ITS will be ending support and/or updates for: Lisrel (on May 11), MATLAB (May 30), Maple (May 30), and Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) (Aug. 1). UVa Proxy Service will also be changing to use EZproxy (May 15).

- New Exchange Service Policies Now in Effect
[Apr 17, 2012] As an outgrowth of the Exchange Betterment Project, ITS has established some new policies to ensure that everyone using the UVa Centralized Exchange Service can expect enhanced performance and reliability. Policies in effect Apr. 17 impact mailbox size, message size, mobile connections, and set regular maintenance times.

- UVa Microsoft Windows Live@edu Email Discontinued
[Mar 01, 2012] Microsoft has discontinued support for its legacy Hotmail platform on which the UVa Microsoft Windows Live@edu email service was based. UVa Live email has been automatically rerouted to UVa Gmail.

- Exchange Best Practices Presentations Now Available
