Residence Halls Wired Network Info
Wired Ethernet outlets are not generally available in individual bedrooms/living rooms. Students wishing to connect a device to the Open or Protected Wired Networks from a residence hall are encouraged to make use of an Ethernet-to-WiFi adapter.

Students with demonstrated need for a wired Ethernet outlet in a residence hall may submit a written request to be reviewed by ITS and Housing & Residence Life by emailing its-housing-services@virginia.edu.
