Levels of Consulting
ITS provides 3 levels of hosting-related consulting services: Standard, Advanced, and Lead. The level of support required is determined by the level of expertise of the engineers needed. Some examples for each level are listed below.
Please note, these consulting services are generally used by those who don't already have a contract with ITS, or who need some kind of help other than that specified in a contract.
This is not a comprehensive list. If you are unsure of the level required for your particular need, please email us for an explanation and estimated time for completion of your project.
- The standard consulting services include Operating System installations, upgrades, configurations, and troubleshooting for supported Operating Systems.
- The advanced service level includes installations, configurations and troubleshooting of standard application that are supported by ITS such as IIS, SQL, Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint, file services, MySQL, Apache, TomCat, and PHP.
- The lead service level is required for installations, configurations, troubleshooting, and vendor mediation for 3rd-party applications.
