Service Goals & Effectiveness
The UVA Help Desk supports information technology 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Help Desk specialists answer questions and provide solutions in support of the UVa Integrated System (IS) Human Resources and Finance areas, the Student Information System (SIS), and other systems provided by UVA Information Technology Services (ITS).
The Help Desk is available by email, phone, and chat, with staff offering expertise in a broad range of technologies and platforms. We strive to provide high quality rapid response and resolution of user issues, and refer more difficult issues to appropriate higher-level support groups.
